Bandina Christian Youth Camp, Inc. was founded on January 11, 1967 based on the faith and vision of Archie Waldrum, Fred Allen, Charley Creech, C. D. Davis, Bill Gilleland, Lowell Mosley, and Bob Wachtel, who served as original board members. Brother Archie Waldrum was elected President by the board and continued to serve in that capacity until August 28, 1999. These visionary men saw the impact that a secluded Christian youth camp could have on thousands of young people, a place where youth meets God. Under brother Archie’s leadership and the wisdom of the board members past and present, Bandina Christian Youth Camp has become a place blessed by God and a blessing to the volumes of staff members and campers who have come to the hill to meet God, to be revived, and to make life long commitments.
